To further strengthen our North America automotive sales team in Michigan, we are seeking a Strategic Account Manager who will work from a home office. In addition to find new design opportunities, the candidate will work very closely with the product marketing teams to bring ongoing leads to successful design wins.
Position: The role requires a highly motivated, customer oriented, Field Sales Engineer with in-depth automotive experience and working with Automotive OEM's and tier 1/2/3 customers in the automotive market. Strong communication and team-building skills with existing relationships at strategic customers required for this newly created sales position. The applicant must exhibit strong sales skills to increase the number of new opportunities and drive design-wins for IDT.
Basic Qualifications / Your tasks
Ability to develop an account strategy with a set of target customers aligned with IDT's strengths and potential, set a course of action and set activities in place to support it
Work directly with North America automotive sales team to increase the opportunity funnel, drive design wins and create new revenues for IDT in Automotive.
Support the automotive business unit to aid in new product development, product definitions and validation
Knowledge of the semiconductor automotive segment, key customers and their applications are essential for success, existing relationships are critical at key customers targeted for penetration
In depth automotive customer knowledge and essential team skills, strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with customers, sales force, peers and management, sense of humor required
Preferred Skills & Knowledge / Requirements
Knowledge of the semiconductor automotive segment, key automotive customers and their programs are essential for success, existing relationships in engineering and sourcing at key customers
Semiconductor technical experience, familiarity with functional safety ISO 26262 standards, AEC-Q100, TS-16949 certification and the PPAP process for automotive customers
Knowledge or past selling experience with the following products would be ideal in this new position: custom ASICs, sensor signal conditioning, position sensing solutions for rotary, angular and linear applications. Experience with timing circuits, memory interface, Wireless Power and power management IC's are essential for new and emerging applications and new product opportunities.
Technical leadership: capable of combining industry trends and customer requirements with available and future technologies to recommend and suggest new products for LIDAR ASICs, electronic steering, cluster and in-cabin electronics.
Essential team skills: strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with customers, IDT's global sales force, peers and management
Ability to work directly with North America automotive sales team to increase the opportunity funnel, drive design wins and create new revenues for IDT in Automotive.
Work with IDT's automotive business unit and sales to provide deliverables needed for success, provide competitive feedback on applications, products and technical trends observed from customers.
Ultimately responsible for creating new business opportunities and closing design wins for new revenue
Education and/or Experience / Your profile
OEM Account experience, BSEE or equivalent experience required, 5 yrs experience in the Automotive segment

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
